Welcome to Masters Squash in the ACTWe welcome all squash players 35 years of age and over. To play Masters you don’t have to be a seasoned squashie. All you need is the desire to have a good time with good company in a fun and friendly atmosphere; to meet new people and to socialise; oh yes, and to play some squash, too. If you have recently ‘retired’ from playing squash, or are thinking about it, haven't played for a while and would like to start again, or are a beginner, why don’t you come along and try the Masters approach? We do not play with a must-win attitude, but play to win and enjoy the match. It will be as competitive as you want it to be. If you want even more details you can click here to view our Constitution. General InformationCompetitionsWe run three competitions a year, played on Monday nights at Woden and Dickson courts, and on Wednesday nights at Weston Creek and Woden. Our competitions are mixed graded and all standards of squash playing ability are catered for, from higher grade players to beginners. Each competition culminates in a finals night with trophies and prizes awarded to the winners, runners-up and wooden-spooners. OutingsWe hold an End-of-Comp dinner in the week following each competitions finish. These are held at restaurants selected for both the quality and value of their food. After our final comp of the year we kick our heels up to a dance band, let our hair down, and party off the year's aches and pains. Keep an eye on the News page for details as the time draws nearer. ReservingIf you are interested in Masters Squash, a good entry point is to put your name on the reserve list. We often need fill-in players, and this is a good way to get the feel of the Masters way. Just phone Phil or email Lyn and have a chat. TournamentsIn March of each year we hold the ACT Masters Championships. This tournament is always held on the first weekend in March, and is open to all Masters squash players Australia-wide. Happy SquashingACT Masters Squash contacts OR
